Here it is, the last contest. It is a location contest where you are to go to a specific location and take a picture of what ever you like there. That means you could take a candid shot or of a prop or anything else you can think of.
The location is at the corner of main street and S center st. If you look at the picture below it will show you exactly where. The photo needs to be taken from within the red circle (or arms length from the pole.)
This last week we had the second contest of the semester. It was a Halloween theme which basically meant anything that looked scary or dead or candy, or pumpkins. So basically there was a lot to choose from. The other two posts are the two different divisions for this contest, and also the entries.
There were a lot of great entries. It'll be hard for the judges to decide.
As usual, and in each category, there are three winners choosen by judges, and the society itself also chooses its' own winners for each contest. Here are the winners for the light contest. First category is:

Unedited 1st Place - Blake Pack

Last Tuesday we had a photography contest here on the Campus of BYU-Idaho. The contest was on light, which could be interpreted any way you wanted. There were two different categories, edited photos and unedited photos. Here are all the pictures that we received digitally but I think there were more that were physically entered.
Welcome to the Photographics Society's Contest blog. At BYU-Idaho there is a photographic society where those that are at the campus can come every Tuesday at 5 pm to the Spori building. There we talk about photography and photoshop.
Throughout each semester there are three contests where those that belong to the society can enter and there are prizes given to the winners. This is the blog where the entries are displayed for all to see.
